An aged-care community platform with web SaaS plus iOS & Android apps connecting carers and seniors across Australia. Built for compliance, scale and warmth.

The brief

Carever set out to build the "AirBnb of aged care" — connecting independent carers with seniors and their families. The platform had to handle multi-stakeholder workflows (senior, family, carer, agency) plus mobile apps that worked offline in regional Australia.

Compliance was the hard constraint: every interaction had to be audit-loggable to satisfy Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission standards.

What we built

• Multi-tenant Laravel SaaS with role-based access for 4 stakeholder types.
• iOS app (Swift) + Android app (Kotlin) with offline-first care logging.
• Stripe Connect for split payments — platform fee + carer payout.
• Biometric login (Face ID / fingerprint) for one-tap shift start.
• Push notifications for care plan changes, shift reminders, family updates.
• Audit log — every action timestamped, IP-stamped, exportable as CSV.
• SLA monitoring with PagerDuty + Sentry for sub-5-minute incident response.
